How it works

Not four services to scope yourself. One ladder — start wherever your site actually is.

01

Audit

A Site Check: recorded walkthrough of your site, written findings, a prioritized fix list, and a call to go through it. Five business days.

$395 — fully credited toward a build

book a build within 60 days and the audit ends up free

02

Build

Hand-built and hosted free forever, or on a platform you can edit yourself — Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace. I recommend; you decide.

$295 – $9,500+

routed by one question — it’s just below

03

Manage

Care plans: updates, backups, monitoring, small changes, and your domain and SSL handled — so you never think about any of it.

from $49 / month

domain & SSL included free on every plan

SEO and AEO aren’t a fourth thing to buy — they’re inside the audit and inside every build. Structure, metadata, schema, sitemap, Search Console, Google Business Profile. Standard, not extra.

the only question that decides the price

Do you want to edit the site yourself?

No — just make it work

Hand-built. Hosted free, forever.

No Squarespace, no Webflow, no monthly platform fee for the life of the site. I write it by hand, and you own the files.

The trade: you can’t log in and change it. Changes come through me at$30/hr — or the $49/mo Care plan.

$295 – $650

Yes — I want the keys

Built on a platform you log into.

Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace — I recommend based on who’s maintaining it after launch, and you make the call.

Real CMS, you edit anything, recorded handover. The platform costs$25–50/mo, paid to them, not me.

from $2,400

Selling online, publishing weekly, taking bookings with accounts? That’s a platform build — and I’ll say so plainly rather than pretend the cheap option can do it.

Plain pricing

Fixed prices in CAD, agreed before anything starts. Two families — same split as the question above.

Portfolio Site

Up to 3 pages, two revision rounds, everything in Get Found included. 2 weeks.

$650$1,200

After launch: changes $30/hr, or the $49/mo Care plan. Best for sites that rarely change.

$3,900$6,500
Company Site

CMS architecture, conversion tracking, technical SEO and AEO from the start, 60 days of support. Quoted. 8–10 weeks.

from $9,500

The platform subscription ($25–50/mo) is paid to the platform, not me. Best for sites that change often.

Not sure? Site Check — $395

A paid diagnostic of your current site: recorded walkthrough, written findings, prioritized fixes. Fully credited toward any build within 60 days.

Website Care — $49 / $199 / $499 a month

Monitoring, backups, updates and a monthly allowance of changes — up to SEO monitoring and quarterly conversion reviews on Growth.

Domain & SSL — $50 a year

Registered in your name, always — I just handle renewals, DNS and the certificate. Included free on any Care plan.

The fine print, said early: 50% deposit to start, 50% at launch · two revision rounds (one on single-pagers) · timelines start the day your content is in hand, not the day you sign · copywriting is an add-on at $150/page.

“Couldn’t I just use AI for this?”

Honestly? You might. With a free weekend, some patience, and clear ideas about what your site should say, you can get something decent up on your own.

But making the page was never the hard part. It’s buying the domain and pointing it at the right place. The certificate. The contact form that actually sends somewhere you’ll see it. Claiming and verifying your Google listing. Getting indexed. Most DIY sites end their lives as a nice page in a browser tab that never quite goes live.

And I use these tools too — that’s part of why I’m not charging agency prices.

Nobody is asking ChatGPT to verify their Google Business Profile.

You own everything. Every tier.

Your files

Code, design, content — handed over at launch, transferred in writing on final payment. On hand-built sites you get the actual files.

Your domain

Registered in your name, always. If I manage it — $50 a year, free on Care — I hold the account, never the asset.

Your exit

Want to take the domain or the site elsewhere? Say the word and I’ll transfer it across. No fee, no argument.

Fair questions

How much does a website cost?
It depends on two things: how much site you need, and whether you want to edit it yourself. A single page is $295. A five-to-seven page site for a local business is $2,400. An online store is $3,900. Bigger company sites start at $9,500 and get properly quoted. If none of that quite describes you, tell me what you’re trying to do and I’ll tell you what it should cost.
Why is the hand-built option so much cheaper?
There’s no platform behind it. No Squarespace or Webflow subscription, no monthly fee for as long as the site exists. I write it by hand and host it free, so the only thing you ever pay for is the build itself. The trade-off is you can’t log in and change it yourself. If that matters to you — and for a lot of people it does — a platform build is the better fit, and it costs more because it genuinely does more.
Can I edit it myself?
On the platform builds, absolutely — that’s a good part of what you’re paying extra for. I’ll walk you through it and record the session so you can watch it back when you inevitably forget a step. Everyone does. On the hand-built ones, no — changes come through me: $30 an hour with a one-hour minimum, or the $49/mo Care plan.
Do I own my website?
Yes. All of it, once the final payment’s in. Files, code, design, the lot. On the hand-built sites I’ll hand you the actual files — what you do with them after that is entirely up to you.
Who owns my domain?
You do, always. It’s registered in your name and you’re the legal owner. If I’m looking after it, I keep it in my registrar account so renewals, DNS and the security certificate get handled without you thinking about it — $50 a year, free on any care plan. Want to take it over? A few days and it’s done. No fee, no argument.
How long does it take?
A single page is around ten days. A local business site is about four weeks. A store is closer to five. Bigger builds run eight to ten weeks. Worth knowing up front: those timelines start the day I have your content, not the day you sign. That catches people out, so I’d rather say it early.
Will I show up on Google?
Every site gets the technical groundwork — proper structure, tags, sitemap, submitted to Google the right way, and your Google Business Profile sorted if you’re a local business. That’s the part actually in my control. What I won’t do is promise a specific ranking. Anyone who does is guessing.
What happens once it launches?
I’ll record a full walkthrough so you’ve got it to refer back to, and for the first 30 days I’ll fix anything that isn’t working properly, free. After that: care plans from $49/mo, or pay-as-you-go changes — $30/hr on sites I host, $95/hr on platform builds.
You’re one person. What if something happens to you?
Fair thing to wonder about. Your domain is registered in your name, so it stays yours no matter what. You own your files. Nothing about your site depends on me still being around — any competent developer can pick it up, and I keep things documented and tidy specifically so they can.
